Booze, Trivia and Prizes - Hackology Ain't Your Grandma's Museum Tour

Museum Hack, the premier non-traditional museum tour company, partners with the Florida Museum of Natural History for HACKOLOGY.

The Florida Museum of Natural History collaborates with Museum Hack to produce Hackology, a custom, one night event.  On April 13th at 6:30pm, we are taking over the Florida Museum of Natural History! Hackology is your favorite bar’s trivia night plus an unconventional museum tour all rolled into one. There will be beer, wine and trivia prizes. Exclusive, semi-top secret museum missions and food await you. Just bring your smartphone, adventure-ready walking shoes and Indiana Jones hat (optional); we’ll take care of the rest. This isn’t your typical weekday night in Gainesville, think you can hack it?

The Florida Museum of Natural History is the state’s official natural history museum and one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing natural history museums. It was formally established in 1891 by Frank Pickel, and is home to some of the finest anthropological, geological and archeological pieces the world has to offer. Despite its 125 year history, Hackology is the first tour of its kind, an engaging, social adventure specifically crafted for Millennials. Museum Hack has worked at length with the Florida Museum of Natural History and the University of Florida to curate a unique experience that both students and the general public are sure to enjoy. While these treasures are timeless, tickets are not, so act quickly.

Museum Hack’s goal is to reinvent the adult museum experience for the next generation. They believe the best way to do this is through fun, provocative tours that blend modern interests and topical information with historic artifacts. Each tour is uniquely curated, exhibit and tour guide specific – that is to say, no two tours are alike.  The only parallel is that each tour features the greatest stories of the greatest pieces on display.

About Museum Hack: Museum Hack provides interactive museum experiences that attract diverse audiences and foster new connections.  They also work with museums around the world to increase visitor engagement.  Founded in 2013 by CEO Nick Gray; Museum Hack currently offers alternative tours in New York City, San Francisco and Washington D.C.
