While the world may have many problems, and while there are many charities that exist to find solutions to many of the problems, Boston, MA Wedding Photographer Phillip Brunelle says "If each person turned their passion into a cause, we can help lower the problems in the world, one passion to a cause at a time."
With this in mind, Photographer Phillip Brunelle has used the power of Facebook to create a fan page to promote the introduction of his intentions to develop a charity to help bring photography into public schools across the United States.
Phillip Brunelle released a public statement in the informational section of the fan page that reads as follows:
Hey Everyone! This fan page is not just to promote my own photography... it is to promote photography in general.
I love photography, and so do many people. You see cameras everywhere... even your cell phone most likely has a camera, but yet many public schools no longer teach photography as they did when I was in school.
I am hoping to first develop a fan page with a considerable amount of fans, then bring on themed photo contests & other events to soon after bring in the introduction to my charity (soon to be announced) to bring back photography into the public school system.
Kids need hoobies to stay out of trouble and education in a wide variety of areas, including photography, to build their knowledge and widen their horizons for the possibility of future career opportunities, or again... at least as a hobby to keep them out of trouble! At least when kids are out on the streets maybe we can get more kids armed with camera's instead of weapons!
So I hope you will join my fan page and share it with your friends too because the quicker I can get this fan page to grow, the quicker I can put the details of my charity together and release them, and hopefully get corporate sponsorship from some major companies to start the funding of my charity from Kodak, Fujifilm, Nikon, etc... So again, please become a fan and invite all of your friends to become a fan too!
Thank You!
Phillip Brunelle
Phillip Brunelle has officially launched the fan page on Facebook on the morning of Saturday, May 8th, 2010 and now hopes to quickly reach a significant number of fans on the page to continue to gain national exposure, and soon after release the details of his charity in which he hopes to receive public support and donations, and corporate sponsorship from the major companies across the United States relating to photography, such as Kodak, Fujifilm and Nikon, to name a few.
