Bottle Toppers — Efficient, Convenient Cap For Bottled Water
These toppers assure fresh drinking water all the time even after losing the original bottle cap.
Online, January 24, 2014 (Newswire.com) - At long last there is a method to topping bottled drinking water even if one loses the original cap. Bottle Toppers are spill-proof, universally interchangeable, re-usable caps for bottled drinking-water. Dishwasher safe and reusable, they have a self-sealing gasket system, a snap-cap lid, and a one-way valve that permits drinking, but prevents spilling. An expanded product line accommodates juice bottles and wide-mouth bottles as well. Though conceived initially for toddlers, they should also appeal to athletes, such as cyclists and runners. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Bottle Toppers.
The Patent Pending Bottle Toppers was invented by Jeffrey and Michelle Doke of Huntington Beach, CA, who said, "When the Bottle Topper is pushed down onto the threaded neck of a plastic drink bottle, three rubber gaskets, or rings, ride over the threads and seat the Topper in place securely. The outer surface of the base cap is equipped with a pair of opposing "childproof" tabs, the squeezing of which releases the Topper from the bottle. Centered within the base and running vertically through it is a silicon spout that is equipped with a one-way valve at the end. The Topper cap-and-spout assembly is covered by a hinged snap-cap lid."
