Boulder Digital Arts Builds a Community of Digital and Creative Professionals in Boulder
Unique Organization Brings Coworking Revolution To Boulder's Technically Creative Community
Online, February 24, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Boulder Digital Arts, an organization dedicated to empowering the creative and technology communities in the Rocky Mountain region, opened the doors to its new affordable, professional and creative coworking space on Feb. 1, 2011. The new coworking facility, conveniently located in central Boulder, is the first of its kind to focus specifically on building a community of individuals involved in the creative and digital industries.
"Coworking is redefining the way we do work and has become the workplace of choice for many people," says Bruce Borowsky, who helped found BDA seven years ago and has built its reputation as a national hub for practical skills training in video production, digital photography, web design, social media and other digital disciplines. "While other coworking spaces are broad and unspecific in their industry focus, BDA's coworking facility will be unique in that the space is specifically geared toward the creative and digital communities. We have created an environment that will inspire innovation, encourage collaboration and foster productivity."
With the economic downturn of two years ago forcing many people to reinvent themselves, add new skills to their repertoire and even start new careers, coworking has been gaining traction in recent years and is very often the best choice for the growing numbers of isolated telecommuters, solopreneurs, and members of the creative and digital communities.
