Brad graduated from BYU in four years and had a very successful collegiate baseball career setting multiple WAC records and being selected as an All-American. After graduating, Brad could have played professional baseball like his brother Jeremy did for seven years but decided to hang up his cleats, get married and focus on his family and career.
"Without my real estate tools and experience, there's no way we would have been successful in the vacation rental business."

Throughout his career, Mr. Winget has received numerous awards and honors. Among others, he has been featured in Top Agent Magazine (June 2016 issue), has received the Top Sales Awards in Real Estate & Mortgage, and received the Hall of Fame Award for being a Top Producing R.E. Agent in 2016.
With 17 years dedicated to real estate, Mr. Winget brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and in particular, to his area of expertise, Salt Lake City's residential real estate market and Utah's vacation rental business. Mr. Winget worked in the mortgage industry for several years before making the transition to real estate. When asked why he decided to make the change, Mr. Winget said:
"I was fortunate to learn every aspect of the mortgage business working as a loan officer for my father who owned a small mortgage brokerage. In 1999, we bought our first home and had our first child. With a good foundation in the mortgage business and a wife who was a trained loan processor, we decided to start our own mortgage brokerage so we could both work from home. Shortly thereafter, I saw an opportunity to further my career by getting my real estate license and becoming a real estate broker. With an established mortgage clientele, we decided to open a real estate brokerage as well in hopes to becoming a One-Stop-Shop."
Since beginning his career in real estate, Mr. Winget has learned so many different things and considers himself “one of the lucky few, Jack of all trades”. Brad will openly admit that finding a balance can be challenging when you are juggling so much but wouldn’t change it for anything. To date, he has personally flipped more than 500 homes, closed 500+ mortgages and closed more than 500 real estate transactions. Despite the heavy workload, he maintains, Brad is driven by the challenge of building successful companies fueled by the satisfaction he gets from helping his clients buy and sell real estate and live the American dream of home ownership. Like many real estate and mortgage professionals, Brad experienced the devastating effects of the real estate crash in 2008 and thus, has worked hard to create diversity and stability from the home flipping and property management businesses that are a natural complement to the mortgage and real estate business. In addition to being the CEO for two companies, Utah’s Best Vacation Rentals and Utah’s Best Real Estate Group, Brad has always had a great real estate team consisting of two buyer’s agents and a full-time assistant, while he primarily focuses on working with sellers and assisting his clients who want to purchase a successful turnkey vacation rental.
As a thought-leader in his industry, Mr. Winget keeps his finger on the pulse of prevailing trends in Utah’s real estate market to stay ahead of the competition. He pays close attention to the growing opportunities in the vacation rental business. As one of the first to enter the Salt Lake City vacation rental space in 2007, Brad has seen the market expand from its infancy. Discussing this trend, he said:
"I got into the vacation rental business by default after the real estate market crashed and I found myself in a difficult predicament as my wife, and I owned forty-five rental properties in Salt Lake County, four of which had just been vacated. I made the risky decision to spend most of my savings on brand new furniture and décor to prepare my four vacant homes to be rented to hopeful vacationers. I created four separate listings on a site I stumbled upon called “VRBO” and the rest was history as I started squeezing lemonade out of the lemons I was dealt. With no hospitality background, we learned a lot of hard lessons but slowly over time, launching one home after another, we became an industry leader. Without my real estate tools and experience, there’s no way we would have been successful in the vacation rental business."
