BRIC, LLC Receives SBA 8(a) Certification

BRIC, a subsidiary of Diné Development Corporation, has recently been notified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) that the company has been accepted into the SBA 8(a) Business Development program. The BRIC provides capabilities across a number of core competencies. The company has had steady growth since its establishment in 2016, and has built a solid business base to build upon, which will support the additional growth anticipated through the broad benefits of this exciting program. “With this certification, we will have access to resources and support to expand our business, and continue to deliver the highest quality services and solutions to our customers and to the federal government.” – Steven Sullivan, BRIC President.

The SBA 8(a) Business Development Program assists small, disadvantaged businesses by allowing them to compete for sole source government contracts for goods and services. Certification into the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program is a stringent process in which the business needs to be controlled and owned by U.S. citizens at least 51 percent socially or economically disadvantaged. The BRIC will participate in the program that spans over nine years with a four-year developmental stage and five-year transition stage. Within that time, the SBA will closely monitor the BRIC’s progress on each stage to ensure they are meeting program benchmarks.

With this certification, we will have access to resources and support to expand our business, and continue to deliver the highest quality services and solutions to our customers and to the federal government.

Steven Sullivan, BRIC President
