Brooklawn Child & Family Services Still In Need Of Winter Items From Its Amazon.com Wish List

LOUISVILLE, KY -Brooklawn Child & Family Services launched its Amazon.com wish list only a month ago and had much success in encouraging holiday donations of children's toys, stuffed animals and games from the list as part of the 'Help Make it

With winter well underway, the organization is still looking for cold weather items to keep its more than 100 children and adolescents who live on campus warm and cozy. Items requested from the wish list are throw blankets, glove/scarf sets and heavy coats and jackets.

Brooklawn's 'Help Make it Home for Me' Amazon.com wish list can be found by clicking on the link, http://amzn.to/rtRwcb, or on the "Gifts and Wish Lists" link at the top of the Amazon.com homepage, and then entering the word "Brooklawn" in the "Find Wish Lists & Registries" box. Brooklawn's winter wish list items range from microfleece throw blankets, starting at $12.99 to winter apparel including girls and boys parka coats, priced from $20.90.

Items included on the wish list have a ship-to address so that they go directly and immediately to Brooklawn.

The wish list is a part of Brooklawn's multi-year 'Help Make it Home for Me' campaign with a mission of transforming the 16 cottage residencies into more comfortable, safe and loving residential homes. Funds raised through the campaign and donations that come through Amazon.com will be used for projects such as outfitting kitchens and creating cozier bedrooms to upgrading landscaping and outdoor play areas.
