Broward SCORE Hosts a Wide Range of Financial Workshops for Small Businesses

Online, May 14, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Broward SCORE (http://www.broward.score.org) hosts a wide variety of workshops on the financial needs of small businesses in South Florida.

The workshops help business owners find financing, manage their cash flow, budget and more.
The workshops are held from 5 - 8 p.m. throughout the year at different venues in Broward County such as Best Buy, Comerica Bank, IKEA, Hispanic Unity of Florida among others.

Workshop facilitators are SCORE volunteers with expertise in finance and business management. Facilitators include Paul Bosley of First Financial; Carla Dorsey of the Dorsey Group; Jake Adams of South Florida Remote Accounting; John Poropat of Poropat, LLC.; and Elizabeth Karwowski of Get Credit Healthy, Inc.

"The goal is to educate attendees on sourcing capital and managing their money to stay in business and to thrive," said George Gremse, vice president of Broward SCORE. "Our presenters are business owners themselves. They know what it takes to finance a business venture and how to apply for loans and work with funders.
