Broward SCORE to Help Small Businesses Sell, Sell, Sell and Hone Their Sales Techniques
Broward SCORE will host Sell, Sell, Sell, at 9 a.m. on Oct. 29 at Nova Southeastern University in an effort to empower South Florida small business owners with the skills to increase their sales and gain new clients.
Online, October 27, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Broward SCORE will host Sell, Sell, Sell, on Oct. 29 at Nova Southeastern University in an effort to empower South Florida small business owners with the skills to increase their sales and gain new clients.
The free, half-day event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Alvin Sherman Library, 3100 Ray Ferraro Jr. Blvd., will teach entrepreneurs and small businesses how to work with large retailers like Walmart and obtain contracts with municipal and federal governments.
"Government offices and organizations spend huge amounts of money in our community every day with small businesses. The federal government is required by law to spend billions with small businesses. Experts will show attendees how to get that business," said George Gremse, Broward SCORE's workshop coordinator.
Sell, Sell, Sell will also feature workshops led by sales experts. Attendees will learn strategies to acquire new customers and to sell more to existing customers. A special session about ho to use social networks liked Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to do research on perspective clients.
U.S. Rep. Adam West (R-Boca Raton) will give the keynote address. West, who is seeking re-election, is a strong proponent of programs that help small businesses grow and thrive.
