Bruckheimer takes on the new film "Typhoeus"

Online, February 18, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, February 18, 2010 -- New Blood Films is proud announce that They have penned a deal to have Producer Angel Bruckheimer, be the Executive Producer for their up and coming project, "Typhoeus."

This will be Bruckheimer's first as an Executive Producer for New Blood Films. Negotiations started early Thursday morning with New Blood's Associate Producer, Kevin Magnus and by that afternoon, Mr. Bruckheimer had agreed to sign on as the film's Executive Producer.

"I'm quite excited to work with Mr. Russo and his New Blood team, on this project," said Mr. Bruckheimer. "We've agreed to start shooting in Florida, by September and will hopefully have it out to a distributor by early next year."

"It's a pleasure to have Angel Bruckheimer on board as our Executive Producer for 'Typhoeus,' and can't wait to get started on it," said Alan Russo, Chairman and CEO of New Blood Films.

As of right now, the script is being finished, by Mr. Russo and two other writers, and have plans to have the final draft finished by late march or early April. Casting is said to be scheduled for summer this year, but no word on who New Blood has in mind to play the lead role in the new film.
