Bryan Cole Tapped For National Veterans Wheelchair Games Performance
Online, May 19, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The 31st National Veterans Wheelchair Games is coming to Pittsburgh, PA in August of this year, and MTS Management is very proud to announce that Bryan will headline one of the event's exclusive scheduled performances. The "Block Party" event will take place at the Great Hall, located inside Heinz Field, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bryan will perform favorites from his Wide Open Road CD, as well as his new single, "Pride And the Passion," plus some crowd -pleasers from his renowned live shows. "I'm just so honored to have been asked to perform for these wonderful people. The Wheelchair Games is such an important event, in that it celebrates the heroes who have sacrificed so incredibly for our freedom...I'm very humbled. I'm looking forward to an amazing show, so get ready!" says Bryan.
A supporter and advocate for US Veterans, Bryan performed as show opener for the Charlie Daniels Band Veterans Benefit at the Trib Total Media Amphitheater last May, which helped raise funds for these Wheelchair Games. In addition, Bryan has been asking his fans to submit their Armed Forces photos for a special music video tribute, featuring his hit single, "I'm Comin' Home." The National Veterans Wheelchair Games, now in it's 31st year, is a multi-event sports and rehabilitation program for military service Veterans who use wheelchairs for sports competition due to spinal cord injuries, amputations or certain neurological problems. Attracting more than 500 athletes each year, the National Veterans Wheelchair Games is the largest annual wheelchair sports event in the world.
