Bryan W. Alaspa's Horror Novel "Vicious" Available in Paperback Print Edition: Plans Print Release of Bestselling Thriller "After the Snowfall"

Online, November 4, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Author Bryan W. Alaspa's new horror novel, "Vicious," his first novel from his recent deal with SalGad Publishing, is now available in print as a paperback at Amazon.com. The ebook version has been available exclusively for Kindle since October 1, and the plans have always been to eventually release a print edition. Now, fans of horror and bloodshed that do not have an e-reader can be scared as much as those who do.

"I'm still a fan of the printed word," said the author from his Chicago offices. "And while I have found most of my audience thanks to publishing for Kindle and e-readers, there is still something amazing about seeing my novels in print. That's why I have plans to eventually release all of my novels, currently available only as ebooks, as print editions."

Vicious is the story of a pair of Presa Canarios dogs who have been trained to fight. After years of horrible abuse, the dogs turn on their owner and escape. They find shelter beneath the porch of writer Jeremy Liden. That very same weekend, Liden, his wife and his two friends head to the cabin for a weekend getaway. What ensues is days of terror and blood as the dogs fight for their territory, trapping the four vacationers in the house.

Writer Iain Rob Wright has stated that the novel is, "both feral and sadistic."

This has been a busy year for Mr. Alaspa. He has written and published three books so far in 2012. He released a collection of short stories in the spring entitled "Flashpoint: A Collection of Curious Beginnings and Endings." Mr. Alaspa then published his true crime book "Sabotage: A Chronicle of the Chesterton Crash" mid-summer. He then released his first hard-boiled detective novel in August entitled "One Against Many," exclusively for Kindle and now that novel will be made available for Nook, Kobo and other e-readers and electronic devices.

Mr. Alaspa says he also plans to release his bestselling thriller "After the Snowfall" in a print edition by Christmas.
