Online, September 9, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Building Infrastructure Group, Inc., (B.I.G.) a leading Structured Cabling Systems provider serving the DC Metro region, has been named to the 2013 Washington Business Journal's list of "Top Ranked Small Technology Companies."
A recent string of notable contracts, including large infrastructure projects for the Federal Reserve Bank and SAIC's spinoff, Leidos, helped position B.I.G. for inclusion in the top rankings.
B.I.G. was awarded a contract by the Federal Reserve Bank in Richmond, Virginia for installing a new OM3 Fiber Optic backbone system for 24 floors. Leidos chose B.I.G. to install cabling for its new world headquarters in Reston, Virginia.
Commenting on the recognition, B.I.G. president Patrick F. Barron said: "This is quite an honor for us. The fact that Washington Business Journal included us in its selection demonstrates that our constant efforts towards business excellence are paying off."
