Business Improvement Specialist Oliver Wight Continues Expansion With Two New Recruits

Business improvement specialist, Oliver Wight EAME, continues to expand, with the appointment of two new consultants; taking the number of new recruits up to six in little over a year.

Two senior executives from industry have joined Oliver Wight EAME as consultants this month, bringing further skills and knowledge from the food, engineering and oil sectors to the organisation. These appointments take the number of new recruits at the consultancy firm to six, in little over a year.

Paul Ducie joins Oliver Wight from BP, where he has held a number of senior regional and global roles in sales, marketing & technology, finance and business leadership.

Mike Gray previously worked at Georgia-Pacific. Most recently his role was as interim manager, supporting change initiatives and improving master scheduling in a diverse range of industries.

Oliver Wight CEO, Les Brookes, says: "We are delighted Paul and Mike have joined us. They are both respected senior figures in industry and bring a wealth of experience gained from working in large and successful, global organisations."

Mike Gray has almost thirty years manufacturing experience in operational supply chain and consultancy roles, working for a number of food, FMCG and engineering companies. Mike has experience in supply chain management, production planning and the extended supply chain, and has been involved in a number of Class A projects. He was on the executive team at Georgia-Pacific as it successfully changed to become one of the first organisations to be accredited against the sixth edition of the Oliver Wight checklist. Mike has an engineering degree and MBA from Sheffield University.

Paul Ducie has broad-ranging experience across B2B and B2B2C sectors, including industrial, marine, energy, automotive and aviation. He led the implementation of Oliver Wight's Integrated Business Planning (IBP) model within three global businesses in BP's Lubricants portfolio. The IBP implementation was one of the largest change programmes ever undertaken within BP Lubricants. Paul has a degree in Industrial Chemistry and an MBA.

These new appointments reflect a growing demand in business improvement programmes, which Oliver Wight has seen over the past eighteen months.
