Online, September 30, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The Tomorrow Leaders Institute, designed to help leaders achieve their goals in their business and personal lives, is set to launch in 2012. In the run-up to the Institute's formal opening, it has launched its first membership programme, the Platinum Programme, and is providing private consultancy.
The executive directors of the Tomorrow Leaders Institute are husband-and-wife team Steven Sonsino and Jacqueline Moore. Steven, a business school professor who has coached and mentored leaders around the globe, and Jacqueline, a former columnist and senior journalist at the Financial Times newspaper, are the authors of The Seven Failings of Really Useless Leaders, an Amazon business books best-seller.
"Everything is in place for a 2012 launch," said Steven Sonsino. "We're very excited to be dealing with our first clients on the Platinum Programme - at this stage they're setting their targets and goals for the future."
The Institute had been due to launch in 2011 under the chairmanship of Rami Makhzoumi, the inspirational and award-winning CEO of Future Pipe in Dubai. Sadly Rami died suddenly in April 2011 at the age of 33 - a serious loss to the global business community.
While the Tomorrow Leaders Institute finds a new chairman, it is launching with the support of two highly experienced Advisers to the Board. Oliver Jones is the former CEO of real estate groups Citex and The Asset Factor, while Patrick Raming is the former CEO of foods group Sara Lee in France.
Oliver Jones said: "I'm pleased and privileged to be involved in the launch of the Tomorrow Leaders Institute. It's great to be able to give something back to the business community - all of us involved see this as part of our living leadership legacy, because the Institute promises to revolutionise leadership support for senior executives. The honesty and constructive challenge you'll get as a member of the Institute is definitely something firms and individuals need today more than ever."
Patrick Raming said: "The challenges of today's world require authentic leaders that will build teams and organisations that look for sustainable solutions beyond the obvious. With the launch of the Institute, Steven provides an excellent programme that builds on the fundamentals of authentic leadership. The programme, with its provocative style, is for senior executives that are truly willing to be challenged to take themselves and their organisations to the next level, it's a breath of fresh air. Expect the unexpected in building a new foundation for your leadership."
The Institute has a faculty of 10 associate professors, including Dr Tommy Weir, executive director of the Emerging Markets Leadership Center and author of The CEO Shift, and Ian Taylor, author of A Practical Guide to Assessment Centres and Selection Methods.
The Platinum Membership Tier of the Tomorrow Leaders Institute is designed to help ambitious managers break through to the C-suite and win their dream job. Over the course of a year, members attend high-level retreats, participate in focused training calls and take part in an online forum. The programme is due to start in November 2011.
Steven Sonsino's business clients include banking groups HSBC and Deutsche Bank, pharmaceutical companies Bristol Myers Squibb and Sanofi Aventis, telecoms groups Deutsche Telekom and Sony Ericsson, software company Microsoft, oil groups Exxon Mobil and ConocoPhillips, and airlines Emirates and Etihad.
