Café Grumpy Launches Shelf-Stable Ready-to-Drink Cold Brew
NEW YORK, July 27, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Brooklyn-based coffee roaster/retailer Café Grumpy announces the launch of its ready-to-drink cold brew coffee in shelf-stable cartons.
The cafe-style cold brew is roasted and brewed in Cafe Grumpy’s Greenpoint, Brooklyn facility and is packaged in Tetra Pak aseptic 11oz cartons.
“Because we roast and brew in-house, we are able to replicate the taste of the popular cold brew our coffee shop customers enjoy,” says Café Grumpy Co-Founder and CEO Caroline Bell.
The cold brew coffee beverage is made with specialty grade arabica beans from Huila, Colombia and roasted in small batches on a vintage Probat coffee roaster.
Just in time for the hottest part of summer, the cold brew is available at all Café Grumpy locations, online and at select retailers throughout the Northeast in ready-to-drink singles and 4-packs.
Café Grumpy is a certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise founded in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in 2005. With growth to twelve retail locations, an in-house coffee roastery, wholesale division and beverage line, the company has been recognized for its business practices and coffee quality. In 2019, Café Grumpy won Whole Foods Market’s Vendor of the Year Award Northeast Region.
