California Mortgage Credit Union Service Organization Expanding Business Development Initiatives
Hire of New Business Development Executive Marks Milestone for Mid-sized Lender
Pomona, CA, September 2, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Community Mortgage Funding (CMF) is a mid-sized mortgage lender with big plans. Dramatic increases in clientele during the last three years, as well as forecasted growth for the future, have uniquely placed the organization among its competitors.
Since 2012, CMF has seen an increase of 200 percent in its credit union client base. Recent additions of SESLOC Federal Credit Union, Altura Credit Union, and Coast Central Credit Union evidence continued growth for CMF’s expanding business community.
“We are elated to have been given the opportunity to serve so many credit unions in this home financing capacity,” said Andrea Blais, Chief Executive Officer of CMF. “Our continued expansion has opened up a door for us, and we have responded by adding to our team a Business Development Executive. Her role will be to help facilitate business relationships with our current credit union clients, as well as to actively continue our expansion efforts.”
Jacque Thurman will serve as CMF’s new Business Development Executive. An experienced banker with more than 25 years in highly-visible local community leadership roles, Thurman is well fit for the role, which will see her managing the on-boarding of new credit union clients as well as providing support to current clients.
Most recently, she served as Vice President and Relationship Manager for JP Morgan in Riverside, CA. Her prior experience working at Altura Credit Union and CUNA Mutual Group provides a firm working knowledge of the credit union industry, which will prove very useful in her new role. Her move to CMF signals not only growth for the company, but for credit union mortgage business in general.
“This is truly an exciting time for the credit union mortgage industry,” said Blais. “As Millennials prepare to enter the home financing landscape, we believe credit unions are looking to partner with Credit Union Service Organizations who think and do things in a young, fresh, forward-thinking way.
We believe CMF is that mortgage partner they are looking for. It is for this reason especially, that we welcome the addition of Jacque to our team and the ultimate growth that will follow.”
