Calumet Photographic Announces New President

Online, January 5, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Calumet Photographic is pleased to announce the promotion of Gabriel Garcia to president of its U.S. operations. This organizational change comes as the company is poised to enter its 75th year as a leader in the photographic industry.

Prior to his promotion, Gabe was Calumet's vice president of operations for the past 15 months and has 25 years of photo-industry experience with a strong and varied sales and operations background, including procurement, marketing, sales support and new product commercialization. He held several key positions during his tenure with Ritz/Wolf Camera, most recently as the Eastern Vice President. He has also had the opportunity to work for and alongside past presidents of the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) and other photographic organizations.

In his new position, Gabe will focus on expanding product availability, exploring new marketing opportunities and solidifying Calumet's role as a leading force in the photographic industry. "Gabe brings a strong retail background to his new role, as well as exceptional leadership, team building and people development skills," says Christof Bergmann, CEO of Calumet.
