Ford's best-selling pickup truck, the F-150, addresses any concerns customers may have had by offering a new engine lineup, featuring four new engines, available on its 2011 model. The new base standard engine is now a 3.7-liter V6 that outputs 302 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque. The base engine delivers best-in class fuel economy with an EPA estimated 17 mpg city and 19 mpg highway.
The next engine is the 5.0-liter V8 that generates 360 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. The biggest engine available is the 6.2-liter V8 that pumps out 411 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque. Lastly, the 2011 F-150 offers a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that produces 365 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque.
