SightLine Applications, LLC today announced their newest product, the SLA-2000-CL Carrier Board, which adds Camera Link® support to the SLA-2000 multi-channel, embedded video processor. This new carrier board provides customers with the ability to connect both analog and Camera Link® cameras, allowing simultaneous acquisition, stabilization, independent target tracking, and low contrast image enhancement for two cameras at frame rate (30 fps). It also enables an all digital SLA-2000 video processing solution and supports the increasingly popular dual-band turrets, which contain both EO and MWIR or SWIR cameras. The SLA-2000-CL is validated with a number of Camera Link® cameras, including the Goodrich SU640HSX-1.7RT, the Nova Sensors Eagle MWIR™ 640A, and the Sentech STC-CL33A.

The SLA family of products are DSP-based, embedded video stabilization, object tracking, and image enhancement systems well-suited for airborne and ground video applications which demand high performance in a small, light, low-power package. The systems reduce operator workload and increase situational awareness in ISR applications. They are an essential tool in the determination of hostile intent. SLA digital stabilization technology dramatically improves video quality with robust frame-to-frame registration and optional video de-interlacing. Hands-free, low-latency tracking feedback accurately drives cameras to follow fast-moving vehicles, including at high zoom. Image enhancement helps operators discern objects/features by bringing out difficult-to-see details in the source video, while simultaneously suppressing video noise. Products are available as an enclosed system, an OEM module, or a software library. Specifications for these products can be found at: http://www.sightlineapplications.com/.

Camera Link is a trademark of the Associated Imaging Association; Goodrich, Nova Sensors and Sentech are all trademarks of the respective companies
