The leading sponsorship conference in Canada is headed to Montreal and the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada from June 10-12, 2011. For its seventh year, the Canadian Sponsorship Forum is showcasing world-class speakers, including founder of Movember, Adam Garone.

Garone, an Australian-born entrepreneur with a passion for marketing creativity, was part of the original team that founded the global phenomenon known as Movember. In his keynote presentation, he will be sharing his insights into how to build a movement that has the power to change the world.

Though Garone's keynote speech will be one of the highlights of the 2011 Canadian Sponsorship Forum, the full agenda, released today on www.canadiansponsorshipforum.com, features presentations from a variety of leaders in the sponsorship and marketing industry. Other featured speakers include RBC's head of international brand marketing, Andy Shibata; co-chair of Kraft Hockeyville 2010 (Dundas, Ontario), Barry Forth; and Carat's creativity and sponsorship director, Diane Patenaude.

The Forum is also renowned for its unparalleled networking events where delegates can forge ties and alliances with 300 of Canada's sponsorship and marketing elite. On the first night of the 2011 Forum, delegates will enjoy a private cocktail and dinner reception at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. Returning to the Circuit the final day of the conference, delegates will experience an on-site activation tour featuring Formula 1 sponsors before closing off the weekend with a networking event alongside Sunday's live race in a trackside hospitality suite.

"It is with great pleasure that in June 2011 our team at the Canadian Grand Prix will greet industry insiders who have a keen interest in sponsorship, especially for grand international events," said François Dumontier, president of Octane Racing Group and promoter of the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada. "Formula 1 is a spectacular environment to discover, and each year, our Grand Prix reaches a worldwide audience of up to 300 million television viewers. One of the top three sporting events on an international scale after the Olympic Games and the World Cup of soccer, Formula 1, along with NASCAR, is one of the two biggest trademark names in motorcar racing. It has to be seen from the inside."

"The Forum is excited to partner with Octane Racing Group for this world-class event," said Mark Harrison, chair of the Canadian Sponsorship Forum. "Together in 2011, the Grand Prix and the Forum are the pinnacle of motorcar racing and the who's who of Canada's business decision makers. It is the most dynamic opportunity available in the sponsorship and marketing industry to make the connections to grow your business and make your mark on the sponsorship world stage. The 2011 content will leverage Forum's unique learning platforms to present global best practices around timely topics. Delegates will learn how the best sponsorship strategies across the globe can drive their ROI to the finish line, ahead of the pack."
