Caravan Coffee Offering Tours at Roastery

Online, March 17, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Caravan Coffee is now offering in depth tours at their Roastery. Led by coffee steward, Alexander Rehm, these tours offer participants a history of Caravan as well as an exploration of green coffee, education in creating special coffee blends, discussion of coffee growing regions around the globe, and a demonstration of the small-batch roasting process. The tours include stories about the farms Caravan sources its coffee from, an explanation of coffee cupping and a discussion of Caravan's sustainability practices. Tours are priced at $11 per person and include a complimentary 12 oz. bag of fresh roasted coffee and tastes of world-renowned coffee in Caravan's Tasting Room. Tours are available Monday through Friday and may be scheduled with Alexander at (503)476-7365 x3.
