"Candidates often consider their previous jobs and achievements sufficient evidence for a company to want to hire them. But that's not enough these days," said Ms. Van Valkenburgh. "What companies want to know is what value you will bring to the company to help it succeed. Surprisingly, even candidates with impressive business credentials can have a hard time identifying what it is that makes them so special. And that is what a Value Proposition is all about. Our most successful clients often credit the process of developing and articulating their Value Proposition as critical in their company's decision to make a job offer."

The event is free and open to all. For further information, email Sally Gemmill at [email protected] or telephone her at (203)762-3950 ext. 254. The library is located at 137 Old Ridgefield Road, Wilton, CT 06897. For more information visit: www.wiltonlibrary.org.
