Online, August 5, 2012 (Newswire.com) - ): The Institute of Business & Medical Careers (IBMC) offers training in the fields of Medical Assistant and Medical Billing and Coding to those living in the Fort Collins area. Classes begin on August 13, 2012.
Students enrolled in IBMC's Ft Collins Medical Assistant degree and the Ft Collins Medical Billing and Coding degree programs engage in hands-on training that develops individual skill-sets and heightens their passion for helping others and working within the medical profession. Small classroom sizes allow Medical Assistant and Medical Billing and Coding students to receive one-on-one attention from faculty throughout the learning process and provide an intimate environment in-which students can feel comfortable in their surroundings and engage with their peers.
As part of IBMC's Ft Collins Medical Assisting and Medical Billing and Coding classes, students will receive instruction in medical terminology, medical insurance billing, patient interaction, medical office procedures, communication, word processing, and computer skills. At the end of the program, each student participates in a five-week externship, in which he or she utilizes the skills they have learned in the classroom and gain valuable hands-on practice.
