Caribbean Directory Aims to Double Membership
Island Links Caribbean Directory plans to double its number of active listings throughout 2016. It's aiming at also increasing the number of event postings as well. The Caribbean event scene is a booming one with major calendar events such as Carnival, Jerk Festival and Caribbean - American Heritage Month in June.
Atlanta, Georgia , January 5, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The online company , Island Links Caribbean Directory, is set to double it's current member listings to over 10,000 in the year 2016. Island Links, one of the few directories committed to serving the Caribbean Diaspora across USA, Canada and the UK has been around since 2010. It's main focus is that of publishing information on businesses owned by Caribbean nationals. The overall aim is to provide a competitive edge for such businesses in online search. Along with business listings, the directory also takes aim at the rapidly growing entertainment scene amongst the Caribbean community; publishing event dates and venues. Owner Norman Meyler, however laments that both event promoters and business leaders are yet to capitalize on the many free avenues available online for promotional purposes. Island Links offers both free and paid listings. Throughout 2016 the company aims at a massive community outreach to get more business, community organizations and promoters to create active listings in its database. This year the Caribbean community can expect to see its presence at major events including the many Caribbean Carnivals, Jerk Festivals and Caribbean Heritage month festivities where active sign ups will take place. If you are from the Caribbean and own a business let's get you listed in our database. Visit us at www.islandlinks.net/advertise or send an email to [email protected].
