Carrier Classics, ESPN's Hottest Selling Cake

Online, December 3, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Carrier Classics played a game in November and since then the team has been receiving great ratings on ESPN. It played on the flight deck of 'USS Carl Vinson.' Ever since the cable network started maintaining the records, the recent match between Michigan State and North Carolina, landed up with ratings of 2.7% viewers that was nearly as good as 3.859 million viewers.

The victory of North Carolina with 67-55 over that of Michigan State, for an inaugural match of Carrier Classics, was far above normal. Among the top rated highlights was President Obama sitting across with fans and First Lady in his courtside seat. Among others were, model Brooklyn Decker and actress Pamela Anderson, Vince Carter of the NBA fame, and Magic Johnson all of them seated amidst the oozing crowds in the grandstands, and of course the act by the naval officers before the evening retired to the sunset.

North Carolina Point Guard Kendall Marshall said, "It was an experience I'm definitely going to remember for the rest of my life, Being able to meet Magic Johnson, President Obama and the First Lady all in a two-day span, that's something amazing not many people are going to experience. I definitely plan on bragging about that to my friends when I get home."

The Veteran Day spectacle had still more for the onlookers. Magic Johnson was there for the festivities and indeed proved yet again that he is one of nicest guys in the history of sports world ever. He went on with a naval officer to assist him for a marriage proposal.

And which girl would be stupid enough to deny a boy holding a beautiful engagement ring asking out for her permission, and Magic Johnson by his side requesting to take on his hand? No one can! Magic Johnson certainly won hearts yet again.
