Casabella Interiors Captures Three BRICC Awards

EAST SANDWICH, Mass., November 13, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Casabella Interiors of East Sandwich, Cape Cod won three BRICC Awards last week. Presented biennially, the awards are hosted by the Building and Remodeling Industry of Cape Cod. The organization recognizes and celebrates excellence in design, remodeling, and building on Cape Cod and the Vineyard. From overall design to sustainability, nominees are judged in over forty categories. In total, the design team of Michele Chagnon-Holbrook (the firm’s founder and principal designer) and Shannon Heritage accepted three awards, two Gold and a Silver.

Casabella won a Gold Award for a master bedroom project – which was part of an extensive renovation of a 9-acre mini horse farm. The team chose a high-style mix of muted blues and creams. To make the large room look and feel more intimate, they paired a 4-poster king size bed - which features an upholstered headboard and footboard — with a mirrored bureau. The verdant views through the double French doors remain a year-round focal point.

The team also took home a BRICC Gold and Silver Award for the transformation of a bedroom and bathroom in a beachfront cottage. The full-house project earned the design team a People’s Choice Award in HGTV Faces of Design competition in the Living Large in Small Spaces category. Chagnon-Holbrook and Heritage curated custom elements to elevate the overall design, and brought the outside in with organic textures, sea glass tones, new windows, and surfaces that reflect light  - resulting in rooms that look like a natural extension of the outdoors.

The BRICC Awards banquet salutes the accomplishments and achievements of Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard interior designers, builders, remodelers, and other professionals in the home building industry.
