Online, July 8, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Case Medical received FDA 510k clearance for its SteriTite sealed container system and MediTray products for use in STERRAD 100 NX sterilization system for use in both standard and flex cycles. Case Medical offers a universal sterilization system that is compatible with all current methods of sterilization including steam as well as low temperature modalities.
The company's SteriTite container system meets sterilizer manufacturers' recommendations for surfaces and lumens, including rigid and flexible endoscopes. The SteriTite container is made from an aircraft-grade of anodized aluminum for full corrosion resistance and maximum durability. The DIN sizing is ideal for containerizing custom fabricated specialty and loaner sets.
The SteriTite container is available with a perforated or solid base for pre-vacuum sterilization. The perforated base is the company's universal container validated for all current methods of sterilization, including pre-vacuum, gravity dispacement steam, sealed flash, EtO, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, & hydrogen peroxide plasma (STERRAD).
MediTray® basic sets are a cost-effective customization choice, without the additional expense of custom engineering. Sets can be assembled for virtually every procedure and are compatible with all forms of sterilization, including low temperature gas plasma (STERRAD®).
