It is an adhesive-backed, absorbent, scented (also available in unscented) personal hygiene product designed to protect clothing from stains due to underarm perspiration – not only extending the life of shirts, blouses, sweaters and jackets, but eliminating the embarrassment and self-consciousness associated with underarm stains.  The design is intended to provide consumers with a disposable product with which to absorb perspiration, neutralize odors and keep clothing fresh and unsullied.

The Catch Patch is designed in an ovoid or cruciform shape and measures approximately 6” L x 2- to 3-” W but various shapes, sizes and colors are available as well. The multi-layered moisture-absorbent cotton or gel-like material is flexible and lightweight and not only absorbs perspiration on the inner surface but reacts to moisture by emitting a pleasing fragrance impregnated into the material.  Each Catch Patch features a peel-and-stick adhesive backing designed to be secured it in place in the underarm region of the user’s clothing. To use The Catch Patch, one must remove the paper backing and then press firmly into place.  After use, the Catch Patches are removed and discarded.  Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in The Catch Patch.
