CauseBeats Launches Online Video Dance Competition, With Mindless Behavior and Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver

CauseBeats Kicks Off First National Campaign, "Just Dance, Just Give" With Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Mindless Behavior on June 15th

CauseBeats, a Denver-based not-for-profit organization that develops and manages cause campaigns for popular recording artists, announced today the official launch of its first national campaign with MTV "Artist to Look Out For" Mindless Behavior, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, called "Just Dance, Just Give."

The "Just Dance, Just Give" campaign is an online dance contest in search of Denver's " Ultimate Mindless Dancer." Open to Boys & Girls Clubs members in Denver ages 13-18, the contest encourages youth to get involved in community service projects with the Boys & Girls Clubs in Metro Denver while showcasing their dance skills.

The contest launches on June 15th and runs through July 28th. Kids have the opportunity to select their favorite Mindless Behavior song, videotape themselves performing a choreographed routine and then submit their entry online by July 8th. On July 11th, the public will have access to view the videos and vote online for their favorite dancer. Ten finalists will be selected on July 27th by the public and the Ultimate Mindless Dancer will be selected by Mindless Behavior on July 28th.

"Mindless Behavior is thrilled to launch this dance contest in partnership with CauseBeats and the Boys & Girls Clubs," said Kenneth Crear, CEO of Management Group International and manager of Mindless Behavior. "In late May, we kicked off the contest in Denver with a service project where the boys were able to work side by side with Denver Boys & Girls Clubs members. They wrapped up the day with a mini dance clinic where the kids from the club learned how to do the hook. They had a great time and we hope that enthusiasm will extend into the competition. There are some great dancers out there and we can't wait to see the videos!"

The competition begins on June 15th at the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver and rolls out nationally to the top ten Boys & Girls Clubs locations in cities along the Mindless Behavior tour this fall. Club members and local youth can participate by visiting www.causebeats.org.
