CCH Kickstarts its Inaugural Goods & Services Tax (GST) Seminar in Malaysia

The Goods & Services Tax (GST) Seminar in Malaysia, by CCH Executive Events, covered salient aspects of GST and its practical planning towards implementing and managing the transition impacting business community and the public.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 12 May 2010 - CCH Malaysia kickstarted its inaugural Goods & Services Tax (GST) Seminar in Malaysia held at the Parkroyal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, covering salient aspects of GST and its practical planning towards managing the transition impacting the business community as well as the public at large.

Conference Topics:
A wide range of key topics by eminent speakers addressed the changes and challenges faced by businesses in view of the GST framework and its implementation in the near future. The speakers also discussed on the best practices leading to efficient implementation of the GST in accordance to its rationale and industry guidelines, preparing businesses to face various issues that may rise from the implementation. The seminar also focused on the Latest Developments in the GST Bill and the Key Challenges in Overcoming Implications to the Implementation of GST which garnered interests from the floor during the wrap-up panel discussion sessions.

The seminar attracted about 160 participants from across industries and practices and it proved to be a successful platform in presenting the various issues in planning and managing key challenges to implementing GST and also to leverage on industry experts on making these potential developments work for the various business needs.

CCH is also organising a similar GST Seminar in Malaysia at Traders Hotel, Penang on 17 May 2010.
