Celebrate ATHENA International Women's Leadership Day on November 10

Online, November 4, 2009 (Newswire.com) - AKRON (November 4, 2009) -- Women's Network, a regional networking organization comprised of women throughout Northeast Ohio, will be hosting the Inaugural ATHENA International™ Women's Leadership Day Lunch. The event will connect established and emerging women leaders on November 10, 2009 at the Fairlawn Country Club in Akron.

This luncheon provides a venue for emerging women leaders to gain valuable information about leadership from established leaders. Women's Leadership Day was developed to encourage women leaders to extend a hand to one another. It helps emerging women leaders meet other women who have found success in their careers and it helps the established leaders to connect, meet and mentor the up-and-coming women leaders.

The opening welcome will be delivered by the newest Akron ATHENA Recipient, Jacqueline Silas-Butler of Project GRAD Akron. The event, hosted by Women's Network of Akron, is licensed by ATHENA International and underwritten by four local sponsors.
