Celebrate Happiness Happens Month This August

Online, July 26, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Not a Banana Baton invites Chicagoans to celebrate Happiness Happens Month (and National Happiness Happens Day, August 8) with laughter at their weekly comedy show at Studio BE in Lakeview. The show, which features new acts each week, offers audiences an authentic taste of the Chicago comedy scene. The laid back, fun atmosphere is reminiscent of the comedy scene that made Chicago famous. The show boasts some of Chicago's most celebrated up-and-coming comedians as regular hosts including Chris Condren, Gary Richardson and Martin Morrow. About Not A Banana Baton
Not A Banana Baton, a local Chicago long form improvisation troupe, has been performing together for three years. All three were members of Columbia College's improvisation team, Droppin' $cience, which was awarded "Best National College Improv Team" at the 2012 National College Improv Tournament. The group now performs at various events and tournaments in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. They established a weekly comedy show at Studio BE in the Lakeview neighborhood. The troupe headlines the show every Thursday while new acts rotate weekly.
