Celebrity Guests Highlight Broyles Foundation Summer Event

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., July 9, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Friday, July 13 marks the third annual Drive & Dine for Dementia event, presented by The Frank & Barbara Broyles Foundation to benefit Alzheimer’s caregivers.

Coach Barry Switzer, Coach John Chavis, and Scott McCall, an SVP with Walmart, will share the spotlight at the Celebratory Dinner with returning emcee David Bazzel.

This event helps families know they have a place to turn. There is no way to articulate the difference resources and support make in your caregiving experience.

The first half of the day begins with two flights of golf at Paradise Valley Golf and Athletic Club sponsored by McLarty Daniel Automotive. Lunch will be cooked on site by JJ’s Grill. Immediately following the tournament, the dinner and awards portion are held at the Fayetteville. At 5:00 pm the green carpet reception features hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. The gourmet dinner begins at 7:00 pm prepared by chef Miles James, sponsored by The Gene and Jerry Jones Foundation.

Live and silent auctions will be held at dinner as an opportunity to donate to the Foundation’s mission to provide support to Alzheimer’s caregivers. The winning four-some will be awarded a custom-fitted Boyles Foundation green jacket presented by Walker Brothers before moving to the Veranda for dessert and drinks with live music by Boom Kinetic!

This marks the first year without Coach Broyles, who passed shortly after last year’s event due to complications related to Alzheimer’s Disease. “This event helps families know they have a place to turn,” said Betsy Arnold, CEO of The Broyles Foundation. “I’ve lost both of my parents to Alzheimer’s.
