CEO of Survival Strategies Provides Specialized Training to Executives & Staff of Large Physical Therapy Practice
Online, April 4, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The CEO of Survival Strategies, Mr. Craig Ferreira, was requested to come to Idaho to personally train 30 of the executives and staff of Rehab Authority, a 12-location Physical Therapy practice, owned and operated by Kevin Hulsey PT, DPT and CEO of Rehab Authority and member of the Board of Directors for the American Physical Therapy Association.
Mr. Ferreira arrived Friday to deliver a refresher course on the subject of Building Relationships with Referral Sources. This refresher course is part of Survival Strategies' most popular service - The Referral Increase & Control Program, a unique training and implementation program with a guaranteed return on investment for its clients. Upon returning home from the two-day intense training and drilling, Mr. Ferreira received the following email from co-owner and Senior Executive Matthew Smith:
"I just wanted to say Thank You again for coming out to Pocatello this past weekend. It was truly a great course and it really brought everyone up to the same level. I would like to talk to you at some point regarding the possibility of you coming out again next year to replicate the same or something like this past weekend. It was a great update, review and learning time for everyone. I know how much of a privilege it was to have you come teach. Thank you." - Matthew Smith, PT, DPT, OCS, President of Practice Education & Research, Rehab Authority Physical Therapy
As the CEO, Mr. Ferreira rarely delivers training himself and when asked why he opted to do this he replied, "I believe it's important to occasionally deliver training myself to keep my 'hand in,' and it keeps it real so I don't lose touch with our clients and their needs. It also helps me to ensure our programs stay current and of the highest quality."
Most physical therapists in private practice will agree that establishing a larger base of referral sources who continually refer new patients is one of the most important aspects of a thriving practice, but can also be the most elusive! A typical approach has been the use of sales techniques; however this usually proves to be unsuccessful - and more importantly, very uncomfortable for the physical therapist!
The Referral Increase & Control Program has been successfully delivered to thousands of clinics across the U.S. and Canada for the past 25 years and continues to be their most popular program, with its basis being developing professional-NOT SALES-relationships.
This program establishes the confidence and skill needed to develop long-term, professional relationships with referral sources of all types, thus creating a broad, stable referral base. It is a full, implementable system from referral to intake, scheduling control, quality assurance, discharge, internal referrals and other management strategies and referral tools.
