Don Harding will talk on managing the supply chain for small to medium sized enterprises as part of the CEO Series at the NUSS Kent Ridge in Singapore on October 7 2014.

Don Harding, Partner at business improvement specialists, Oliver Wight, will present on ‘Managing Supply Chain Performance’ on October 7 2014 at the NUSS Kent Ridge in Singapore, as part of the October CEO Series.

"Many SMEs think supply chain optimisation is just for larger organisations, but if businesses want to compete with larger corporations they need to be thinking about their supply chain too. This workshop will look at what effective supply chain management means for smaller companies and how they can effectively monitor performance and achieve excellence."

Organised by the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Society, in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, the workshop is designed to help CEOs, executives and senior decision makers of small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) manage their supply chains more efficiently to achieve a balanced business model and maximise profit.

“To effectively manage the supply chain, the right processes have to be in place. Integrated Business Planning (advanced S&OP), a business management process for running the entire organisation, not only provides a 24-36 month rolling horizon, it directly links the corporate strategy and financial plans, and exerts control over the extended supply chain,” explains Don. “This results in improved visibility of demand and capability in supply, as well as better understanding and management of product portfolio.”

The session is the second programme in a four part series, spanning four months, that covers key topics in effective supply chain management and optimisation; tickets for one session cost S$58, or S$188 for all four.

The session will be repeated on Thursday 16th October at the Hard Rock Cafe in Singapore from 4.30 - 6pm.
