C'est Fantastique! Beautiful Parisian Elephants On The Wall Murals Unveiled At Plaza El Segundo Shopping Center.
Online, June 21, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Four French-themed Elephants on the Wall paint-by-number murals debuted at The Edge, district of Plaza El Segundo, a new shopping mall in El Segundo, California. Designed by Elephants on the Wall creator Patti Newton, the murals turned a quaint mall corridor into a romantic slice of Paris.
A ribbon cutting ceremony and sounds of the Manhattan Beach High School Jazz band marked the completion of the EOTW Paris Street Scene.
Dan Crosser of Comstock, Crosser & Associates, a Manhattan Beach development company, purchased the murals and had local artists from ArtLife Gallery (Vanessa Andrade, Gale Driver and Anita Gerlach) painted them to create the eye-catching and very French Rue de la Edge. The names of local shops and restaurants were decoratively added to the murals.
The four Paris Street Scenes murals include typical Paris sites such as a hotel, patisserie, two cafes, a dress shop, shoe store, a market, and the Eiffel Tower.
Although sophisticated in design, the murals still have touches of whimsy. Whether it's the typical French waiter, the puppy who carries himself just like his owner, or the child in the window who delights in the patisserie below, each mural is sure to enchant the passerby.
Elephants on the Wall, a nationally recognized wall mural design company, designs and manufactures paint-by-number wall murals. In addition to their creative, whimsical selection of children's murals, they also offer wall mural patterns designed for any room in the house.
These creative do-it-yourself wall murals are purposefully designed to make it easy to create decorative spaces at a fraction of the cost. Simply TAPE the transfer & pattern paper to the wall, TRACE the design, remove the paper and PAINT inside the lines. Use the supplied color chart or create your own colors. Patterns can be reversed, reused and repeated in whole or in part. Each kit comes with the full-sized paper pattern, transfer paper, directions and a color guide.
With the effective paint-by-number method, individuals can use the same pattern to repeat an image as many times as you like, as opposed to stick on murals, which can only be used once.
Patti Newton is a former designer for Walt Disney Imagineering. Her imagination and creative spirit are evident in each beautiful pattern that she creates and her passion is to allow even the "artistically challenged" to paint a beautiful, professional-looking wall murals. "Many of our customers are hesitant at first on taking on what seems to be a big project," Newton says. "But soon they find out how easy it is and they're having a blast. They love it when friends and family think they had a professional paint it."
