Chairwoman of New Mexico Technology Council Joins Mobile Startup Company, APPCityLife, Inc.

After a year of building the framework and creating a foundation for national expansion of mobile lifestyle guides for communities, APPCityLife is growing to meet the market demand. The company has recently added Lisa J. Adkins as VP of Operations.

After a year of building the framework and creating a foundation for national expansion of mobile lifestyle guides for communities, APPCityLife is growing to meet the market demand. The company has recently added Lisa J. Adkins as the Vice President of Operations at their national headquarters in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Adkins currently serves as the Chairwoman of the New Mexico Technology Council, a member-driven association of businesses, organizations and tech professionals working together to promote the growth and success of New Mexico's technology business sectors. Adkins co-founded SolutionWerx in 2001, an Albuquerque-based IT Services and Software Development firm, and has a long track record in the technology sector.

The company has also developed strong ties with the public sector including agreements with the City of Albuquerque, the Convention and Visitor's Bureau, the University of New Mexico, and the Chamber of Commerce. A second city, Santa Fe, New Mexico, is almost ready to launch through a partnership with the Santa Fe Convention and Visitor's Bureau. An additional ten cities are slated to join the app by the end of 2011. APPCityLife is currently working with the Department of Cultural Services and the BioPark to create unique content with the app which will provide fingertip access to a wide variety of events, information and interactive media for the city's cultural community.

Adkins joins APPCityLife team members Lynn Cline, the editor of the Santa Fe CityLife mobile guide, and Lisa Abeyta, founder and President. Adkins holds a B.A. from the University of New Mexico in Information Management Systems and an M.B.A. from Webster University and holds several awards and certificates in leadership training and mentorship programs. She is a mother, coach and mentor as well as a talented technology professional, an avid runner and a passionate and outspoken advocate of small business in New Mexico. As a former small business owner and leader in the technology community, Adkins understands the importance of creating work environments in which creative, assertive and intelligent professionals can succeed while loving their jobs and maintaining health, wellness and balance in their lives.

Adkins will spearhead fundraising, daily operations and expansion for APPCityLife.
