Chance's Spot Requests Submissions for Pet Memorial Program

Chance's Spot, Pet Loss and Support Resources is seeking pet caregivers and friends of animals who wish to submit their pet's name to this year's Honoring the Animals Memorial Program Book.

Chance's Spot, Pet Loss and Support Resources would like to invite all pet caregivers and friends of animals to submit their pet's name to this year's Honoring the Animals Memorial Program Book. This program book is mailed to pet parents all over the world who wish to honor their pet's memory on National Pet Memorial Day.

Each year Chance's Spot presents Honoring the Animals on the second Sunday in September. This year's event is September 11, 2011 from 4 to 6 pm at Andrew's Episcopal Church in the Highlands and will include musical selections and poetry-reading, as well as a moment of silence as candles are lit in memory of our beloved animal friends. A blessing of the animals will also be performed for those who wish to bring their leashed pets. Our special guest will be a member of FEMA and a First Responder at the 9.11 attacks.

This event is free and those in attendance will be able to have their pet's name read out loud. To submit your pet's name, or for further details on the service, please see the Honoring the Animals web site at: www.honoringtheanimals.org/addpet.html.
