Changing Lives & Reducing Crime

CHANGING LIVES & REDUCING CRIME With Best Practices in Cognitive Psychology "Changed Minds = Changed Behavior = Changed Lives" C.L.A.Y. (Cultivating the Life of A Youth) is based on proven methodologies that reduce crime through the use of

Youthful crime stats continue to rise in most urban cities, tracking very closely to poverty and unemployment rates for the same areas. There is no shortage of programs, one-off events and other initiatives designed to provide relief from the social and financial burden caused by criminal and gang activity within these neighborhoods, but few target the root-causes of crime involvement with holistic, life-sustaining intervention techniques and behavior modification, like the C.L.A.Y. Program.

C.L.A.Y. (Cultivating the Life of A Youth) is based on proven methodologies that reduce crime through the use of cognitive psychology and integrates music, live entertainment and IMAX theater presentations to create an interactive show-like environment that envelops participants in concepts that focus on how they perceive, remember, think, problem solve and learn. The 10 week course uses a ten-step psychological process that is rational and actionable. It is a time tested and scientifically supported, logical process which anyone can understand and follow. A similar program launched in Chicago resulted in a 44% reduction in crime amongst the target group and significant ROI on program costs against the financial impact of crime.

"The best practices we use, not only address the external factors that contribute to delinquency and poor choices, but involves manipulating all senses in order to effectively engage their feelings, their reactions and their perceptions in uniquely super-charged sessions", stated Winston, founder and Executive Director of the program. He continued, "We use the concept of pairing, as a means to establish home-based reinforcement of the programs components and precepts, therefore, every child participant must be accompanied by a parent or guardian." The program kick-off and lessons are taught in IMAX theaters where the full experience comes to life through the use of 3D technology and includes music, video, live skits, on-stage celebrity performances and audience participation through iPad technology.

The program is scheduled for launch, fall of 2012, pending full capitalization of the program. For more information about the program, how you can participate or support the launch, please contact C.L.A.Y. at 949-388-2545.
