Changing the Stress Management Paradigm

The biggest difference between "The Life Balance & Stress Management Program" and other similar programs is that it refuses to insult people's intelligence and make the outrageous and untrue claim that 'stress can be eliminated'.

There is no such thing as a 'stress-free' life despite many statements to the contrary. The biggest difference between "The Life Balance & Stress Management Program" and other similar programs is that it refuses to insult people's intelligence and make the outrageous and untrue claim that 'stress can be eliminated'. Stress is a normal and natural part of life, and while stress management is not, it can be learned. This program teaches people how to use stress in a variety of circumstances, while at the same time advocating balance and stress relief. It provides a unique recipe for successful life balance and stress management.

When Gudjon Bergmann arrived in the USA in July 2010, having invested the majority of his career into becoming a stress management expert, he encountered a rather peculiar attitude when he started telling people about his profession. "Stress management," people exclaimed, "that was big here in the 80's." Gudjon, who moved here from his native country of Iceland where stress is still a highly relevant subject, became curious. Had the USA solved stress related problems in the 80's? He soon realized that stress was and is still very much a part of everyone's life here, although the idea of stress management has been heavily diluted and pushed aside as unnecessary. Most people have begun to equate the concept of stress management with temporary symptom relief or preach the erroneous concept of the 'stress-free' life. Gudjon realized that there was a need for his comprehensive approach to stress management and decided to form a company with his wife Johanna, called Stress Management 360°.

10/10/2011 is the official release date for "The Life Balance & Stress Management Program" which brings together the best ideas and practices about life balance and stress management. It includes material from most of the previous fifteen books written by Gudjon Bergmann and is highly relevant in today's marketplace. Gudjon has vast knowledge in the area of human development and stands on the shoulders of giants. The new program has been influenced by a number of people and ideologies, including Ken Wilber, Plato, Dr. Herbert Benson, Wayne Dyer, Dr. David Burns, Abraham Maslow, Brian Tracy, Viktor Frankl, and Robert Cialdini, to name a few.

As much as people try to deny it and push it aside, stress is very real part of everyone's life. This program offers real solutions to the undercurrent of stress and challenges old ideas about stress.
