Charities To Benefit From Unique Hole-In-One Golf Contest
Scott & Scott, LLP, announces a par 3 hole-in-one contest to support local charities. The contest offers a unique opportunity for the charity and player to win $10,000 each.
Online, April 20, 2010 (Newswire.com) - May will be a busy month for Robert J. Scott, managing partner of Scott & Scott, LLP . "In keeping with our firm's commitment to be a positive contributor to the community, Scott & Scott, LLP is offering three local organizations $10,000 each if a player hits a hole-in-one at upcoming golf tournaments. The winning player will also receive $10,000." The firm's Charitable Trust is underwriting the contest. The cash prize will be on-site at each location and secured by MobileLock, a GPS asset protected device by DeWalt.
The contest is unique in the sense that it allows short par 3 holes that are normally disqualified for such a contest, to be eligible. Normally, there is a minimum distance of 150 yards required by the insurance carriers that are paying for the prize, decreasing the chance of the hole-in-one being hit. Scott & Scott, LLP has created the contest design to increase the chance of a player winning the prize.
Players can participate in Scott & Scott, LLP's Chip Shot for Charity at the following tournaments:
