Chelsea Square Supports Local Community With a Range of Sponsorship Initiatives

Online, July 17, 2013 (Newswire.com) - West Hampstead-based boutique estate agency, Chelsea Square Partnership recognises the importance of giving back to its local community by sponsoring a number of important local community projects, with more support planned for the rest of 2013 and beyond.

Projects currently sponsored and supported by Chelsea Square in and around West Hampstead include:

• West End Lane Books - a community-minded bookstore that holds author readings, book clubs and children's story-telling sessions. Chelsea Square provides the refreshments for author talks and promotes their free events.

• Kingsgate Community Centre - an active local centre providing a wide range of social, educational, welfare and leisure activities for all ages. Chelsea Square covers the cost of art materials for the children's and over 50's art groups, as well as providing coffee, tea and biscuits for another of their groups. Ray Jacobs, Partner in Chelsea Square, was recently invited to join the board of directors to help contribute to the future direction of the centre.

• St Luke's C of E Primary School - Chelsea Square sponsored the recent summer fête of this new free school on Kidderpore Avenue.

• Jester Festival on the Green - This annual festival for the local community took place this year on 6th and 7th July on Fortune Green. Chelsea Square provided the entry banner and joined in the weekend fun with a face painting stall and free cupcakes. The prize for entering a free raffle was a £100 book token for West End Lane Books, which was won by a local resident.

• Kilburn Festival - Another local festival to enjoy at Kilburn Grange Park on 14th July. Chelsea Square provided entry banners, sponsored the Art Tent and supplied a face painter, cupcakes and another free raffle.

• Emmanuel Church - Chelsea Square sponsors a number of events throughout the year at this vibrant local church, including an Easter Egg Hunt, Harvest Festival and various Christmas events.

• W.Heart (West Hampstead Events Association for Residents and Tenants) - Chelsea Square sponsors their Big Lunch on the Green in West Hampstead, open to the whole community, as well as funding the refreshments for their twice-weekly drop-in chat sessions.
