Cherry Lash Lounge Launches Social Media Campaign to Redefine Beauty Back to the Eyes of the Beholder

Social media campaign launched by lash extension company redefines beauty and donates to charities that help women heal and rediscover their confidence

Cherry Lash Lounge, an eyelash extension service, launched a campaign on their popular Instagram channel (currently at 22.6K followers), along with their other social media outlets to join the worldwide conversation about the definition and perception of beauty.

From the widely popularized saying “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, Cherry Lash Lounge is bringing beauty back to the eyes, and advocating that everyone sees and defines beauty in their own way. The campaign asks people to use the hashtag #CherryEyes via Instagram or Twitter to post photos of their eyes, or of something that speaks to the way they see beauty. The campaign will run through Mother’s day, as many of the clients the lash lounge services are working moms, including the company’s CEO and Cofounder, Reyna Nebeker

As a part of the campaign, Cherry Lash Lounge will be donating $1,000 to two separate organizations that help improve the lives of women including The Shade Tree (a Las Vegas shelter for women, children and their pets affected by domestic violence and crisis), and Women of the World (a Salt Lake City charity supporting women refugees to achieve self reliance).

Nebeker states: “The eyes are the one thing that transcend across gender, education levels, ethnicity, and social status. When you talk to someone they look at your eyes. The greatest reward we receive from our service is watching our clients light up with confidence when they look in the mirror after they get their lashes. They were already beautiful before the lashes, but after the service their attention is drawn to their eyes to really look at themselves. Many of these women have worked so hard taking care of others, that it’s the first time in a long time they have stopped to notice themselves, and give themselves the time they deserve.”

An entrepreneur since age 16 and mother, Nebeker launched the company after her own pursuit for a way to give her fatigued look a boost led her to finding lash extensions. She created Cherry Lash Lounge to help women find their “me time” and feel beautiful without breaking the bank, and provide a platform to give women great paying, flexible, and fulfilling work to help them on their path towards their own passions.
