Chicago Author Bryan Alaspa Makes Novels Available on Smashwords; Announces Autographs for Kindle

Online, August 21, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Bryan W. Alaspa, the bestselling author of the horror novel "RIG: a Novel of Terror" and the thriller "After the Snowfall" has now finally brought his works of fiction to the popular ebook site Smashwords. With the move his novels are now available for every ereader on the market including the Kobo ereader and the Sony ereader. He is also announcing that Kindle book fans can now get a personalized message an autograph for their favorite book sent to their kindle through the website Kindlegraphs.com.

"The world of ebooks is growing faster and faster and the technology is just amazing," said Mr. Alaspa. "As an author, I want to make my books available on as many platforms as I can and getting my novels on Smashwords lets that happen. Finally, I want to be able to reach out to my audience like I have always done with my books in print. Kindlegraphs now lets me get a personalized message and autograph to my readers."

Kindegraphs.com provides a list of Mr. Alaspa's novels. Users can sign up on the site and simply click on a button to request an autograph. Mr. Alaspa then receives a notice in his email, crafts the message and sends it to the person requesting the autograph. The reader then gets a copy of the book cover and an electronic copy of the message and signature sent directly to their Kindle. The service is new and, currently, free.

Smashwords.com is an online ebookstore that works primarily with indie publishers. They allow writers to publish their work as an ebook. They allow the author to make the books available across all ereader platforms from Kindle and Nook to Sony and Kobo. The books are also available for download to a PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android phone or tablet.
