Chicago Workplace Excellence Award Nominations Now Being Accepted

Online, May 3, 2010 (Newswire.com) - CHICAGO - May 3, 2010...The application period is now open for the 2010 Chicagoland Workplace Excellence Award presented by the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and Right Management. Applications are to be submitted to the CCC's Workplace Excellence Committee which manages the award process.
In its 8th year, this award recognizes Chicago-area companies for innovative workplace practices that demonstrate the connection between people practices and business success.
Businesses of all sizes are struggling to understand how their talent strategies and workforce planning will change in the future, how jobs are created and retained, and how to merge their business and talent strategies in these difficult times. "People are often the key differentiator in a company's results. Strong workplace practices are key to a company's success," said Mark Schmitz, general manager of Right Management. The October 28th award forum will be held at Chicago's Union League Club where winners and finalists will be recognized and winners will discuss their award-winning workplace practices and the resulting benefits for both their employees and company.
