Children's book author seeks to makes parents aware of fun children's book series through national book giveaways‏

Online, July 13, 2010 (Newswire.com) - "There is nothing like watching a childs eye's light up as they look through the pages of a colorful picture book". Those were the words of D.K. Smith, author of the new children's book series "Sock n Boots."

The series features a two very charming characters (a loveable little gym sock and as the title implies, his best friend an intelligent young combat boot).

The Sock n Boots franchise of stories was created not only to teach young children valuable life lessons (why it is good to share, how to conquer their fear of the supposed monster in their closet at bedtime and why playing safe is the only way to play), but also to stimulate positive thinking while building a bond between parents and children through reading.
