Choosey Chicks Licenses Designs

Online, October 29, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Choosey Chicks announced today that they have two new licensing agreements for paper goods and are offering new products and expanded sizing in their flagship fashion tee shirt lines. Their original graphic designs and positive messages will now appear on spiral bound notebooks and pocket folders, as well as on greeting cards. Choosey Chicks is also now the only company in their category selling burnout fashion tee shirts in Missy sizes S-XXL and has introduced a new toddler line, called Choosey Chickadees. These recent expansions are part of Choosey Chicks' move towards re-branding themselves as a lifestyle company.

One of the largest and oldest, family owned and operated producers of school and office supplies, Roaring Spring Paper Products has entered into a licensing agreement with Choosey Chicks to utilize their designs and messages on two-pocket folders, full-size and personal-size notebooks destined for mass market and college bookstore retailers nationwide. Four themes have been selected: Peace, Love, Happiness & Freedom. The first two themes will include three designs each, while the third & fourth themes will both feature four designs. Each theme will appear in counter displays containing 36 ports, 18 full size notebooks and 6 personal books. Additionally, Roaring Spring's collegiate division will imprint individual college names and logos above each basic design. This program will launch in full in 2011.

Choosey Chicks has also entered into a licensing agreement with Paper Street Greetings, a subsidiary of Olympia Sales Inc. (Enfield, CT), a 44-year old social expressions company. Paper Street Greetings is a greeting card company with national distribution. The initial rollout will include 24 original designs printed as birthday, friendship and blank themed greeting cards to be positioned in retail outlets across the US. All of the products produced by Paper Street and Roaring Spring include Choosey Chicks' logo, web site address, and an invitation to become a fan on Facebook on the back of each item.

The Choosey Chicks concept started with a juniors' line of fashion tee shirts communicating the importance of making positive choices in life. They are now the only company offering an expanded size range of S through XXL of burnout fashion tee shirts (MSRP $48), and a new toddler line, called Choosey Chickadees, was introduced this summer. Currently 14 original designs feature message selections suitable for both male and female children. As with the adult line, the shirts offer messages of positive choice but with a touch of whimsy. The range includes children's sizes 2, 3, 4 & 5/6 with an MSRP of $28.
