Chris Vetrano Announces Resignation from Brite Revolution, Launches a New Entertainment Venture
Online, January 3, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Chris Vetrano, former Vice President of Artist Relations and Business Development for Brite Revolution and Nashville's Brite magazine, announced his departure from the music discovery platform and the launch of CMENT this morning. A full service entertainment management and brand development venture, CMENT will focus on the development of media and entertainment brands serving in a number of capacities: public relations, marketing, management, editorial and strategic development. CMENT will serve all entertainment and media brands and genres of music.
Initially, Vetrano will focus on the management of Nashville based indie-rocker Trevor Tillery 's new project, the online music blog Tragic Kingdom and other editorial projects, handle publicity for a number of emerging acts, and has been brought on to assist with securing entertainment for a number of nationally recognized events including the upcoming Nashville Fashion Week in March.
Before spearheading Brite Revolution's growth in the Nashville market- grabbing the attention of acts such as The Avett Brothers, Taylor Momsen, Ellie Goulding and Joss Stone - Vetrano served in a corporate marketing role for Village Voice Media, was integral in developing The UMS - the largest indie music festival in the western United States - and managed marketing campaigns for live music venues and entertainment brands. He also serves as a co-chair on Nashville's Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID) board.

Meet Christopher Vetrano: From a young age Christopher Michael Vetrano was raised as a connoisseur of music, incorporating every sound, note and beat deep into his life. It was clear to everyone that knew him that Christopher's destiny was and would always be somewhere in the music industry.
His career began in Denver, where he led the launch of Sage Hospitality's restaurant division as the Director of Marketing & PR. His enthusiasm for the Denver community led him to Village Voice Media, where he planned a number of local art, music, and food events for the local brand and led corporate social media initiatives. In 2009, he launched a national marketing and PR firm, eMVe Marketing, where he worked with a number of recognizable brands, including Rolling Rock, Floyd's 99 Barbershop and Verizon Wireless. Along with his day-to-day clients, such as live music venues, digital music platforms and a number of talented musicians, songwriters and artists, he was integral in developing the western United States' largest Indie Music Festival, The UMS.
His childhood passions led him to Nashville and ultimately won him the role of Vice President of Artist Relations and Business Development for Brite Revolution, a music discovery platform and popular music magazine. It was there that he spearheaded the company's significant growth in the Nashville market- grabbing the attention of acts such as The Avett Brothers, Taylor Momsen, Ellie Goulding and Joss Stone. A great stepping stone into Music City, Vetrano resigned from the role in January of 2012 to focus on his first passion: CMENT.
When Chris is not working with artists and entertainment brands or planning high-profile events, he's taking in local showcases, serving as a co-chair on Nashville's Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID) board, and hosting social events and happy hours for the city's music industry professionals. Chris also spends time writing about, and promoting, his favorite new musical discoveries on his successful music blog, Tragic Kingdom, which has been recognized by some of music's top performers, including Justin Timberlake, Matt Morris and Neon Trees.
