Christmas Wishes Come True at Singapore EXPO
Singex Venues is the venue sponsor for the Annual Christmas Carnival & Dinner for the second year running, which was attended by more than 20 various corporations, schools, clubs as well as parents and children from Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Online, December 9, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Christmas wishes do come true after all, and in this case, early too. Attested to by 1,000 guests comprising of representatives from more than 20 various corporations, schools and clubs as well as parents, 250 children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation were embraced by the festive season's spirit of giving at its Annual Christmas Carnival & Dinner, held at the Singapore EXPO last week.
Singex Venues, the management company of Singapore EXPO is the venue sponsor for the event for the second year running, along with the main sponsor Maybank. Besides providing the venue, the staff of Singex also prepared hundreds of Christmas gifts for the children and their siblings, as well as managed a game booth where the children took part in the games to win plush toys and other goodies.
Other game booths taken up by corporate sponsors and volunteers included basketball, bowling, fishing, shooting as well as fun rides in colourful carousels, merry-go rounds and inflated slides. Superheroes such as Batman, Spiderman, Ironman, Thor and the Power Rangers also made special appearances at the carnival and added lots of fun and laughter to the carnival.
Said Mr Aloysius Arlando, chief executive officer of Singex Venues, "We are glad to be able to contribute towards this charitable cause. It is indeed heartening to see these children enjoying themselves and we are happy to play our part in spreading a little Christmas joy."
A group of children from the Foundation also put up a stupendous display of performances on stage in a bid to showcase their various talents, which included belting out popular nursery rhymes, mesmerising the audience with their dance steps and showcasing their fashionable dress sense in a runway show segment.
